About:
The Makhoba dairy project is run by the KZN leg of Amadlelo Agri . The land belongs to the Makhoba community which has faced numerous challenges gaining access to funding to develop the dairy. With the diary now nearing full operation, they wish to use it as a catalyst to develop maize production and a piggery.

Production:
Milks 700 cows through a new rotary parlour.

Beneficiaries:
The Makhoba community

In 2002, land was transferred to the Mzabane Makhoba Trust, the sole shareholder of the operating company Ntlangwini Makhoba Farming (Pty) LTD. There were 1400 beneficiary families, each of which had been promised a new home in one of two housing
developments by Dept of Human Settlements. In 2011, Amadlelo Agri was appointed strategic partner to the Makhoba community.
